Tom Carroll developed this fin as an all round fin. While the base offers lots of drive, the flex in the small extremely raked tip offers super smooth and quick rail to rail transitions. It is a great option for the light to medium weight range of surfers or for loosening up a narrow tailed gun for a larger surfer.

Kelly Slater designed the K2.1 to be more manoeverable and faster off the top than the original KFin. The side and centre fins have different templates, foils and flex patterns. The larger, more upright side fins have greater flex for tighter and faster turns. The smaller, stiffer centre fin adds contol.
