Making A Purchase:
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our shop, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We currently accept paypal.
If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us at email@example.com and we will amend your order.
When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling:
We ship via Royal Mail and other carefully selected couriers. You will need to sign for all deliveries.
Surfboards and other large items are currently collection only, Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
We ship your order right away. Orders generally arrive within 3 business days.
You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.
You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. If you would rather not wait you will receive an email giving you the option to cancel.
For orders made within the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is included in the price you see.

Tynemouth Surf Co do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
Cookies are used on this shopping site where they are strictly necessary for the site functionality. They are used to aid navigation, and to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart. If you log in to an account, your logged-in status is recorded in a temporary cookie. If you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option in the checkout, a cookie will be used to remember your details. You can turn off cookies by blocking them in your browser Privacy settings. If you turn off cookies, you will be unable to place orders or benefit from the other features that use them.
Data collected by this site is used to:
a. Take and fulfil customer orders.
b. Administer and enhance the site and service.
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.
You have 14 calendar days to return your items for either a exchange or a refund. If you wish to return items within 14 – 30 days, please contact us for assistance. Any returned items after 30 calendar days will not be accepted. The cost of the postage to return back to us will not be refunded, unless items are found to be faulty.
If you wish to return an item, please contact us for a returns number(RAN). Please state your order number, the date of sale, whether you require an exchange (including alternative sizes) or a refund. Items must be returned in their original sale packaging and the returns number should be written clearly on the outside of the package.
Items sent back without a returns number will not be accepted.
You have 14 Days to contact us and return faulty or unwanted items to us from the date you receive your order. We strongly recommend you use a recorded delivery service like Royal Mail Recorded Delivery or the international equivalent so you have a record that the package was delivered as we regret that we cannot be held responsible for goods until they reach us.
Items bought between the 1st and 31st December can be returned until the 14th January as we understand they may be Christmas presents.
We will refund the cost of goods returned as unsuitable or unwanted however the postage will only be refunded in the event the goods are faulty.
Items not suitable for a refund:
- Ear putty if the outer packaging has been opened due to hygiene reasons.
- DVD’s if the cellophane has been removed due to copying issues.
- Neoprene products (Wetsuits, boots, gloves, hoods and thermal rash vests) if they have been used on the beach / in the water.
- Rash vests if they have been used on the beach / in the water.
Goods not in their original packaging will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. We will contact you should this issue arise.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.
